If you advertised your tournament on a forum that half the community isn't boycotting things would work out better.

If you developed your map and considered advice on a forum where the entire community is welcome things would work out better.



Shoop and Runemining are systematically holding us all hostage through this forum. They serve no purpose - they are unneeded leeches - ruining for the community by not stepping down. They have no ambition and no vision: they just want to hold on to the power they've taken.

You have the chance to improve the community by making a new forum. You have the chance to unite the community: to rid it of unneeded leeches sucking the life-blood out of it.

It's not difficult, just create a brand new forum through the same provider here: https://www.forumotion.com/ and set that shit up.

It's that easy and you've solved everything! Suddenly everyone is involved again and you've doubled the number of forum posters.

I agree with his post completely. All my east brethren refuse to post here. Regardless of reasons it needs to be fixed. A new forums with VOTED mods and admins.

Beer: people will automatically follow you since you're doing a damn good job with the map. I urge, for the sake of the entire community, to make a new forum where are you in charge.

We need to move beyond this village-type archaic forum run by the worst abusers this community has ever seen.

Unite the community, boost activity, run tournaments, and get productive feedback on the map: this will all be possible on a new forum where everyone is welcome.

The community is fucking sick of being imprisoned by these leeches running the current forum. We don't NEED THEM, we don't WANT THEM, and we most certainly don't care to have them around constantly ruining the community.

I hope you take my advice because we have A LOT of people that are more than willing to contribute but REFUSE TO because of these idiots in charge of the current forums censoring posts and abusing in every possible sense of the word.

Amir thinks I have a bad tract record when Sidey is the one who gets forums shut down for spamming child porn, lol.

Me and Shoop have had a lot of disagreements. Yet I have never, on ANY forum (mine, his, w/e) have felt "censored." I think it's not a coincidence that all of those people who are ignored or completely ineffective at persuasion have always been the ones to complain about forum censorship. That and people making power grabs.

Noone is, the only one Ive heard complain is Sidey and everyone knows he just does that beacause he dont like me as a person.

1. A united community where everyone is welcome.

2. The removal of the community's most well known abusers (Shoop, Runemining) from power. Not only that, but these two individuals have zero credibility, no one trusts them, and no one even likes them. They should be on the periphery of the community, not actually RUNNING STUFF!

3. No threat of posts being removed and edited = more activity.

4. Better feedback and greater participation when it comes to map discussion and input.

5. Tournament backing and participation from the entire community.


I shouldn't even have to make a case for this, it's THAT obvious. I urge you to improve -- save -- the community by creating a new forum.

Have Sidey not argued to move, using identical "arguments", on every single forum we been to like every second month?

Give a suggestion instead on how you want this forum to be run and we can discuss that.

Also everyone are welcome on this forum, and if the forum in ANY way dont unite the community tell us WHY. If you dont even know what the problem is and if you cant present a solution we can imply on this forum moving to a new wont solve anything.

The same post with same ideas has been posted on every forum that was active before. Shoop isnt even a mod, runemining is inactive. What seems to be the problem?


This thread is useless and aimless. I haven't heard a single person whining that forums are run badly. The best thing would be just to ignore what sidey says. He said exatcly the same thing in the previous forums, and in all others aswell.

What is interesting is why people (not sidey) choose to not post here.

If we have a part of they community that refuses to post here it might be a problem. I mean, we have like 20 active players and 5 active forumusers. EVERYONE with a opinion should be welcomed.

What forums do the people who don't post here use (US guys?)

Let's REPEAT the facts:

1. A significant portion of people refuse to post on these forums due to to the current leadership.

2. The current leadership is of no benefit to the community. It is notorious for abuse and has no vision or ambition for the forum. It also refuses to acknowledge this and will not step down.

3. The current leadership prohibits the community uniting, prohibits community growth, prohibits map input and discussion, and prohibits tournaments and other competitive sheep tag.

4. Current leadership is known for deleting posts and censoring individuals that have views opposite to them.



In light of this -- Beeer -- will you make a new forum and make the community a better place? Or shall we continue with tournaments not being played, people not participating, and letting the most hated and least credible people of the community run the show?

1. Give us names, so far we only got you. There will always be a few people who have a personal agenda against the forum owner who will boycott the forum, the same problem would appear if beer, you or sheeper76 ran the forum.

I don't think a forum run by beer would do worse than this but i don't think anything here is wrong either. If a majority wants to switch, i'm in but to me it just seems like a waste of time.

This has happened several times already.. The first occasion was when Shoop broke all promises of never moderating the forum promoted himself and his closest friends to moderators and immediately started to edit a few specific threads which contained critisism against him while leaving 200 spam threads untouched.

The other occasion was when Shoop edited several threads (again that contained critisism against him) and justified his actions with "It's illegal in Madagascar"

Noone here can mention ONE thing that Shoop has done that justifies him being in charge of the community forum. People who historically have posted on community forums have stopped posting completely after these actions occurred, and its far from only Sidey.

There will be a continuous BOYCOTT against these forums for as long as Shoop has a shred of power. Beer and others with authority; I urge you to take action. Nobody likes Shoop, Shoop isn't doing a good job, Shoop has a history of constantly lying/abusing. Neglecting reality or sticking your head in the sand to avoid dealing with this problem will only divide our community further.
