| I've got a newer Computer and tried to install warcraft III later. Everytime I start the game it freezes at the loadingscreen. It's always the same, I've remove and installed it so often, used other cd keys, downloaded the game by any website; run as admin. Doesnt work.
What can I do?
If someone wants to have more details, I'm always open for teamviewing.

| I'm not completely sure, but I believe you need to run the patching process manually, as WC3 won't start patching process as admin. You can download the patch from here (use War3TFT_126a_WHATEVER_LANGUAGE). Or for RoC. | |

| Means run the patch yourself rather WC3 running it for you.
Go to one of the links I posted (if you are upgrading an installation that has TFT, use the TFT one, otherwise, if you ONLY have RoC, use the RoC patch). Download the latest one (always at the bottom) in the language of your choice. Run the downloaded file (it's an .exe) as admin. | |

| That is what I meant. Download the patch and put it into wc3 folder (sometimes its needed, sometimes not). Then run it as admin and it will install without any problems. Then you should be able to open wc3. try it, it's what I usually do when I re-install my wc3 since I don't have cd (without patch u need cd to run wc3) | |

| Just had this problem too with my brother's new computer. I had to install the graphics card via the CD given. | |
