You have 4 cards infront of you and you can only see one side of them.

The sides show

A T 5 8

Which cards do you have to turn around in order to verify the hypothesis that the cards with an uneven number on one side have a consonant on the other side?

A 5 8

If A or 8 has an uneven number on the other side, the hypothesis is false. If 5 doesn't have a consonant on the other side, the hypothesis is false.

You don't have to turn around T. If there's an uneven number, it supports the hypothesis, if there isn't it doesn't matter since it is only stated that:

uneven number -> consonant and not uneven number <-> consonant

Edit: Obviously you should turn around 5 first, but ye the order wasnt part of the question.

Its a hypothesis therefore you leave them all unturned

@Enstek you're making a new hypothesis based on newly achieved information therefore nothing was verified
